  5. This release fixes a problem where you can enable the
  6. "Hide When Icon" option and then disable the system
  7. tray icon.  If you minimize Auto-Bot, you won't be
  8. able to see it or get to the Auto-Bot program.  Now,
  9. you can run Auto-Bot a second time and it will cause
  10. Auto-Bot to be restored.

  12. Crashes occuring when browsing for filename has been
  13. fixed.

  15. We have also updated Auto-Bot to support the latest
  16. version of Pegasus email (2.54).

  37. We are almost complete in removing an internet protocol
  38. library which has caused us nothing but problems with

  42. The FTP drop-box temporarily will not process FTP files
  43. (only HTTP files).  This is due to the replacement of the
  44. internet protocol library mentioned above and will be
  45. finishing in the next week or two.

  47. There are a number of new user interface issues which
  48. have been added to support use within a company/network
  49. environment.  The tray icon can now be enable/disabled
  50. and the program itself can be password protected when
  51. bringing it up from a hidden state.  Both of these
  52. options are in the File-->Properties dialog box.

  153. Added FTP Drop-Box.  This new feature hooks into your
  154. browser (Netscape is currently the only supported),
  155. and when you click on an FTP file link, it will ask
  156. for a download location and saves the information in
  157. Auto-Bot's FTP Drop-Box.  Then, when a job with the
  158. associated action ("Download FTP Drop-Box") is run,
  159. it will download the FTP files.

  222. will optionally download and/or upload any files
  223. required to bring the other directory up-to-date.

  293. Due to a potential trademark infringment, we have decided
  294. to change the name of our application to Auto-Bot.
  295.  
  296. Added is support to checking compuserve mail and down-
  297. loading that mail using WinCIM.  The checking is done
  298. by telnetting to CServe.  This support is in early
  299. beta and currently seems to work fine, but might
  300. occasionally fail.  Please let us know if you
  301. experience any problems.

  303. We have also verified that this version works with the
  304. new Eudora Pro v3.0 beta release 11.  We can't guarantee
  305. that it will continue to work with future releases, but
  306. it more than likely will.
  307.  
  308. The support for Pegasus Mail has only been checked with
  309. the Single-User mode.
  310.  
  311. The included FTP actions now work properly.  These actions
  312. include renaming files, deleting files, making directories
  313. and removing directories.  The next release will include
  314. retrieving and storing files.
  315.  
  316. There is a new "MAIL" tray icon which only displays when
  317. you have a Send/Recv action setup with waiting mail.
  318. Double-clicking on this tray icon will bring up the first
  319. email program which has waiting mail.  You can then
  320. continue double-clicking on this icon in turn to bring
  321. up each email program which has waiting mail.
  322.  
  323. Right clicking on hew new "MAIL" tray icon which also
  324. bring up a menu which has each email program (checkmarks
  325. represent ones with waiting mail) and a list of all POPs
  326. with associated Check for mail actions.
  327.  
  328. For those of you who have an ISP which "disallows" automated,
  329. scheduled dialups, we have added the "Randomizer".  This allows
  330. you to specify a range of seconds (plus or minus) which will
  331. be added/subtracted to the scheduled run-time of any jobs
  332. which you specify.  For example, a 10 minute (600 second)
  333. randomizer value will cause Auto-Bot to generate a random
  334. number as it schedules each "randomized" job between -300 and
  335. 300.  This random seconds will be added to the normally
  336. scheduled time of these jobs.

  338. We have now added a "Default Connection" method which allows
  339. you to change all of the jobs which are using the "Default
  340. Connection" at once.  But, you still have the ability of
  341. defining each jobs connection method separately.
  342.  
  343. The right-click menu contains a "hot-list" of jobs which can
  344. be manually run directly from this menu.  A checkbox in the
  345. Job Properties determines whether or not a job is on this
  346. list.
  347.  
  348. The Telnet Group has been fixed and should now work properly.
  349.  
  350. There is now a scheduling option to run "every xx minutes".  This
  351. will not immediately run upon startup, but will wait "xx mintutes"
  352. before its first run.
  353.  
  354. We've added scheduling "filters" to specify a start-time
  355. and a stop-time within which the other scheduling option will
  356. be valid.  Also, check-marks for days-of-the-week which the
  357. job is allowed to run.  These two "filters" give you maximum
  358. flexibility in your scheduling, while still attempting to keep
  359. it somewhat simple.  Be on the looking in a future release for
  360. a scheduling wizard.

  362. Also, check out the right-click menu in the System Tray which
  363. will now give you a menu item to run each of your email programs.
  364. It also will place a checkmark next to the ones with new mail.
  365. Keep in mind, this flag will only be cleared when you run your
  366. email program from this menu, as Auto-Bot has no other way to
  367. assertain whether or not you have run your email program from
  368. some other way.
