If you experience slow and or choppy video performance in Windows 95, the read-ahead buffer on your CD-ROM settings may need to be adjusted. To increase the read-ahead buffer see below.
1. From the Start menu, choose Settings|Control Panel.
2. Double-click on the System Icon.
3. Select the Performance tab.
4. Click File System.
5. Select the CD-ROM tab.
6. Adjust the Supplemental Cache Size slider all the way to "Large."
7. Click OK.
8. Click OK again to restart your computer
3] Changing to 16 Bit Color Mode in Windows 95:

It is recommended that you run the Dossier in 16 Bit color mode for optimum viewing. If your video card supports this color depth, do the following to change to 16 Bit color.
1. Right Click on the Desktop.
2. Select Properties from the pop-up menu.
3. Select the Settings tab.
4. Select "High Color (16 Bit)" from the Color Palette pull-down selector.
5. Click OK.
6. Click OK again to restart your computer, and run the Dossier after reboot.
Consult the video card manufacturer's user's manual to configure for 16 Bit color in Windows 3.1.
4. If your computer is not equiped to play .avi's, install (install.exe) video for windows from the VFW folder on this CD.
