  4. This document is an introduction to Voss Net Online, the premiere Internet
  5. access software for home and business computer users.

  11. including the World Wide Web, News Groups, and electronic mail.

  17. After signing on to Voss Net Online, the Internet is at your fingertips.

  19. World Wide Web ("The Web")

  21. The hottest feature on the Internet is "The Web".  Pictures, photos,
  22. graphics, and text are combined on Web pages to provide an appealing
  23. way to view information and interact with what's on your screen.

  27. Electronic Mail

  29. As a Voss Net Online subscriber, you are issued your own electronic mail
  30. address.  You can compose and send electronic mail messages to anyone else
  31. connected to Internet and read mail sent to your Voss Net Online address.

  37. Explore the hundreds of News Groups that proliferate the Internet.
  38. Interested in a specific subject?  Chances are very good that a news group
  39. already exists for you to share your views and benefit from the views and
  40. advice of others.

  42. There are two Voss Net specific News Groups.  The vossnet.help group answers
  43. your questions about Voss Net Online.  The vossnet.chat group is a free form
  44. forum for you to share with other Voss Net Online subscribers.

  46. Click on the newspaper icon to get to news groups.

  51. The Internet is by all definitions enormous, and it's growing everyday.
  52. Luckily there are reference guides and tools to help you find what you are
  53. looking for.

  55. Search tools with names like "Alta Vista", "Yahoo", "Veronica", "Archie",
  56. and "Gopher" are invaluable for helping you find information. They are all
  57. available through Voss Net Online.
