  1. DIGITAL EXPERIMENTER

  3. Demonstration Copy

  5. This is a fully working copy save that the File Save and 
  6. File Print commands are disabled.
  7. The number of devices that can be placed in a design window
  8. is limited to a maximum of eight.
  9. The program is to be used for evaluation purposes only. 
  10. It must not be used for instructional purposes.

  12. Installation
  13. Select the File Run command in Windows Program manager.
  14. Place the supplied disk in your floppy drive and enter 
  15. the command line "A:\SETUP".
  16.  
  17. The setup program will decompress the files on the floppy
  18. disk and copy them to a directory of your choice on your hard
  19. disk. It will create a program group and program item in
  20. Program manager that you can use to run the program.

  22. Screen resolution
  23. The sample design files were created using a 16 colour
  24. 800x600 display. This is the recommended resolution.
  25.  
  26. Colours
  27. The fill colour used in design screen devices is determined
  28. by your Windows colour scheme. You can change this from the
  29. Control panel that you can access in the Main program group
  30. in Program manager. The ciruit models reproduce well using
  31. the  "Designer" colour scheme .

  33. Program operation
  34. The program uses the standard Windows methods for opening,
  35. closing, sizing and moving screen windows. You will find
  36. detailed instructions on creating, editing and operating
  37. digital circuits in the program's Help system.

  40. This demostration copy shows you the main features of the
  41. program. If you like it you may wish to order a licensed 
  42. copy of the full program.
