  4. License Agreement and Statement of Warranty

  6. By installing NoteWorthy Composer on your system, you indicate 
  7. your agreement to the following terms and conditions. Please 
  8. carefully read these terms and conditions prior to continuing
  9. with the use of this software.

  11. **Note: If you are a registered user, make sure you have your 
  12. registration certificate before accepting this agreement. You 
  13. will need it to reactivate your registration after installing 
  14. this new version (as well as any old version still on your 
  15. hard disk).

  17. UNREGISTERED SHAREWARE VERSION
  18. =======================================================
  19. The license information in this section applies only to the 
  20. unregistered version of NoteWorthy Composer. If you have 
  21. registered and are installing a new registered version, skip 
  22. to the section titled REGISTERED VERSION.

  24. Evaluation License: NoteWorthy Composer is not a free program. 
  25. You are hereby granted a limited license to use this version of 
  26. NoteWorthy Composer for up to 30 days before you are required to 
  27. purchase a complete license. If you elect not to purchase 
  28. NoteWorthy Composer at the end of 30 days, you must discontinue 
  29. the use of it and remove it from your computer.

  31. Distribution License: You are hereby granted a limited license 
  32. to distribute the unregistered Shareware version of NoteWorthy
  33. Composer. Read the file "Vendor.txt" for additional information
  34. on the distribution privileges of NoteWorthy Composer.

  37. REGISTERED VERSION
  38. =======================================================
  39. As a licensed user of NoteWorthy Composer, you are 
  40. entitled to install NoteWorthy Composer on one machine 
  41. and enjoy unrestricted use of its capabilities. You may 
  42. also install NoteWorthy Composer on a second machine 
  43. provided that it will never be in simultaneous use on 
  44. more than one machine. Please protect your registration 
  45. codes, as these are intended to be used only by you.

  47. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

  49. The NoteWorthy Composer application and its accompanying 
  50. support files are provided "as is" and no warranty of 
  51. fitness for a particular use or purpose is offered. 
  52. The entire and exclusive liability implied by this 
  53. agreement shall be limited to the replacement of 
  54. defective diskette(s). Liability shall not include or 
  55. extend to any claim for or right to recover any other 
  56. damages, including but not limited to loss of profit, 
  57. data, or use of NoteWorthy Composer or other software, 
  58. or special, incidental, or consequential damages or 
  59. other similar claims, even if NoteWorthy ArtWare has been 
  60. specifically advised of the possibility of such damages. 
  61. In no event will NoteWorthy ArtWare's liability for any 
  62. damages to you or any other party ever exceed the actual 
  63. price paid for the license to use NoteWorthy Composer.

  66. warranties, expressed or implied, including but not 
  67. limited to any implied warranty of merchantability or 
  68. fitness for a particular purpose.
