  7. ██   This board supports the following transmission rates, using the         ██
  8. ██   U.S. Robotics Dual Standard Modem: 14.4K bps USR HST and CCITT V.32bis, ██
  9. ██   9600bps USR HST, 9600 CCITT V.32, 7200bps USR HST, 4800bps CCITT V.32,  ██
  10. ██   4800bps USR HST, 2400bps CCITT V.22bis, 1200 bps Bell 212A, 300bps      ██
  11. ██   CCITT V.21, 300bps Bell 103, 110bps Bell 103. At 14.4K/12K/9600/7200/   ██
  12. ██   4800 bps, U.S. Robotics HST error control protocol (similar to MNP      ██
  13. ██   Levels 1-4 with MNP Level 5 for data compression) is employed.          ██
  14. ██   Microcom Networking Protocol (MNP) Service Levels 1-5 are used in HST   ██
  15. ██   mode at 2400/1200 bps and in V.32 mode. All connections at 1200 bps     ██
  16. ██   and higher also comply with the CCITT V.42 (error control) and V.42bis  ██
  17. ██   (data compression) recommendations.                                     ██

  24. We are offering the upgrades first to participating members of our Sysop
  25. Program.  August 3 - August 21 is just for them.  August 24 starts upgrades
  26. for the rest of the customer base.  All upgrades are in reference to the US
  27. Robotics Courier High Speed Product Line.

  29. Trade-In: The trade in gives the user the chance to upgrade to v.small with
  30.           fax within the same product type.  HST->HST, V32/V.32bis->V.32bis,
  31.          Dual->Dual, etc.  This goes as far back as our original 9600 HST's.

  34. Trade-Up: The trade-up, is really more of a trade-across.  You can go from
  35.           one product type to any other Courier High Speed with fax.
  36.           HST->DUAL, HST->V.32bis, V.32bis->DUAL, etc.  Again this goes back
  37.           as far as the original 9600 HST's.  Price is $349.

  39. V.32 Module: This is the famous Rockwell V.32 upgrade for some of our 14,400
  40.              HST's.  Addition of this module essentially makes it a first
  41.              generation Dual Standard.  It will be updated to newest code
  42.              including V.42bis where applicable. Price $199

  44. Fax Upgrade: For those that purchased a data only small footprint
  45.              architecture Courier High Speed modem.  We will update to the
  46.              newest code and add the fax feature plus bundle BlastFax
  47.              software. Price $75

  50.   The customer must contact Customer Service to place the order either by
  51. voice(800-982-5151  or  708-982-5151) or fax (708-982-0823).  The modem must
  52. come in house and be inspected by our repair staff.  Once it is approved and
  53. payment is established (COD, Prepay, Personal checks take 10 working days to
  54. clear) the new modem should ship in 10-12 working days.
