  13. Boardwatch Magazine is pleased to announce the results of the
  14. BOARDWATCH 100 READER'S CHOICE BBS CONTEST.  Between January 1, 1992
  15. and July 1, 1992, some 11,152 BBS callers cast ballots nominating
  16. 1215 different electronic bulletin boards as their favorite bulletin
  17. board system in North America.
  18.  
  19. This BBS list provides information on the top 100 systems ranked by
  20. the number of nominations received.  The top 10 systems will be honored
  21. at the Online Networking Exposition and BBS Convention (ONE BBSCON)
  22. held in Denver, Colorado, August 13-16th, 1992.  These top 10 systems
  23. will receive a crystal pyramid commemorative trophy along with free
  24. advertising space in Boardwatch Magazine - the leading print publication
  25. covering the online world.

  27. Also at ONE BBSCON, a random drawing will be held from all valid ballots
  28. submitted by callers.  Five of these ballots will be drawn and awarded
  29. modem prizes - including two U.S. Robotics 16.8K Courier Dual Standard
  30. modems, one Hayes Optima 14.4+Fax, and two ZyXEL U-1496E V.32bis + Fax
  31. models.
