  1. ShareWare1 To The Maxx! README                          6/15/93

  3. The ShareWare1 To The Maxx! CD-ROM contains GIF images and sound 
  4. files for both Soundblaster and Windows.  A collection of shareware 
  5. and public domain graphics and sound manipulation utilities is 
  6. also included.
  7.  
  8. Much of the software on this CD-ROM is designated as some form 
  9. of "Shareware."  Shareware software is not free.  Shareware is 
  10. a try-before-you-buy method of software distribution.  Please 
  11. read the individual author's comments on the registration of 
  12. his or her product.  If you use a Shareware product you should 
  13. pay for it - just like commercial software.  Shareware authors 
  14. rely on your good will and honesty.
  15.  
  16. Some software, however, is designated "Public domain" or 
  17. "freeware." Such software usually will not require any 
  18. registration.  If a registration is required it is usually just 
  19. a post card to the author - to let him or her know that you 
  20. like and use the product.

  22. Certain programs on the disc, such as hard drive optimizers and
  23. low level disk editors, can potentially damage your equipment. 
  24. Maxx Productions will not be held responsible for damages incurred 
  25. through the use of this disc, or any programs/data contained on 
  26. these discs.

  28. All efforts have been made to insure that the disc is 100% 
  29. virus free.  No known viruses are on this disc.  Similarly we 
  30. have tried to insure that no commercial software is present on 
  31. the disc.
