This is Bob Moniot's port of his FTNCHEK version 2.5 to MSDOS.
FTNCHEK is a very good code analyser for debugging purposes,
and it fills the gaps left in many standard fortran compilers.
Enclosed is just the executable. To get the source code, man
page, etc, you must contact the NETLIB software repository
either by e-mail or by ftp.
If you can un-shar a file (MSDOS un-shar's are on simtel,
try TOADSHAR or similar by David K. (an excellent piece of work))
and have access to internet mail, you may try the following to
get the FTNCHEK package. Send an electronic message to either of
the following addresses:
netlib@research.att.com
or
netlib@ornl.gov
The body of the e-mail message should be as follows
send ftnchek from fortran
send help
Be prepared to receive a large amount of email files!
If you have FTP access, and can grab a copy of the uncompress
and un-tar programs (also on simtel), you can ftp to
research.att.com login as netlib (all lowercase!!!!)
the password is your email address.
then try
cd fortran
binary
get ftnchek.tar.Z or get all.tar.Z
(If those do not work, then break down, and type dir. If you cannot
see something that is obviously the ftnchek program, then get the
INDEX or 00README file, and look in there)
If you have major problems, send me an email note, and I will
try to help.
Good Luck
