  5. This package contains two programs to convert Genealogy on Display to family view Ver 1.x
  6.  
  7. CONVPER.EXE
  8. CONVMAR.EXE
  9.  
  10. The first is the person file conversion.
  11. First input request is the target file name. This should
  12. be your surname and it has to be the same name as the setup program has.
  13. Type your name in and press the enter key.
  14. The next request is the number of actual records !!!
  15. Not the number of blank records that genealogy on Display
  16. prepared for you when you first started using it. 
  17. This program writes a file to disk with a .PER extension
  18. eg RINGER.PER
  19.  
  20. The second is the marriage file conversion.
  21. First input request is the target file name. This has to 
  22. be the same as the name you entered in person the file
  23. conversion. 
  24. Type your name in and press the enter key.
  25. The next request is the number of actual records !!!
  26. Not the number of blank records that genealogy on Display
  27. prepared for you when you first started using it. 
  28. This program writes a file to disk with a .MAR extension
  29. eg RINGER.MAR
