READ.ME File for file "FONTPAK1.ZIP".
The following information must be included with the distribution
of these four typefaces. Failure to abide by these terms
represents a direct violation of international copyright law.
Please respect the author's hard work in creating and
distributing these four "Shareware" typefaces.
THESE FILES ARE NOT FREE! THEY ARE NOT PUBLIC DOMAIN!
The files described herein are the private property of Steve
Lawrence, their author. They are being test-marketed via
"Shareware" (bulletin boards, disk vending services,
CompuServe, etc.) in order to bring them to your attention
in an inexpensive, yet timely fashion. If you decide to keep
these files and use them, you must pay the author a
"registration fee" of $20, plus $1.50 shipping (if you
register, you get an additional FOUR MORE TYPEFACES mailed
to you direct from the author!).
Please abide by the terms set forth in this document.
TO ANYONE PLANNING TO DISTRIBUTE THESE FILES:
You MUST distribute these 13 files, unaltered:

ABOUT THESE FILES
Contained in this archive file (presuming these files are
begin distributed as such) consist of four highly innovative
typestyles -- you may recognize them! They are exact
"clones" of:
Atlas Overweight DaisyLand
Jester Script Polo Semiscript
ABOUT THE AUTHOR, ETC.
My name is Steve Lawrence, and I'm the creator of the four
typefaces contained herein. While I don't claim to be an
artist, I've taught myself to create renditions of
innovative typestyles that I've seen around. There is
nothing illegal about creating a new rendition of an
existing typeface. Copyright law currently dictates that you
can copyright a typeface name, but not the shape of its
letters.
At any rate, here are four typefaces I've created. I'm
initially going to distribute them as Adobe Type 1 fonts. If
everyone's honest about how these files are distributed (all
together as a group of four typefaces along with this
READ.ME file), and if I actually receive a check or two from
end users, I'll go ahead and start placing more of my
typefaces out into the various "Shareware" circles (bulliten
boards, CompuServe, disk vending services, etc.). I've had
extremely bad experiences with the "Shareware" concept in
the past and so have many of my programmer friends. People
on the whole, they say, just aren't honest. I disagree.
Prove me correct! If you decide to keep these four
typefaces, register them with me by sending a check for
$21.50 ($20 for the registration, $1.50 for shipping) to:
Steve Lawrence
652 NW 78th St.
Seattle, WA 98117
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!
If you decide to register, I'll send you FOUR MORE typefaces
once I receive your money. These four additional typefaces
are only available directly from me, the author. How's THAT
for an incentive to register?
