  4.                    EDIT OPTIONS HELP
  5.      Highlight the option you want and then press <Enter>.  For a list of the specific key assignments on your machine press <F1> a second time.
  6.      Create New File will allow you to create a new file from scratch.  Edit Existing File will allow you to specify the name of a file that already exists.  You can then edit that file.
  7.      To exit the sample edit program, press <Esc>.

  9.               EXIT HELP
  10.      If you are finished using this sample edit program and want to exit, answer YES.  Otherwise, answer NO or press <Esc>.

  12.                    READ FILE HELP
  13.      Type in the name of the file that you want to edit and press <Enter>.  If the file is not in the current directory, you must include the path to reach the file.
  14.      You can get a list of the files in the current directory by pressing <Ins>.

  16.                         EDITOR HELP
  17.      You are within the text editor portion of this program.  You can read through the file, type in new text, delete portions of the text, or move blocks of text from one place to another.  When you are finished, press <Esc>.

  20.                         EDITOR HELP
  21.      You can use the following keys to edit the current file: <Up-Arrow>, <Down-Arrow>, <Left-Arrow>, <Right-Arrow>, <Ctrl Right-Arrow>, <Ctrl Left-Arrow>, <Home>, <End>, <PgUp>, <PgDn>, <Ctrl-PgUp>, <Ctrl-PgDn>, <Ins>, <Del>, <F7> and <Backspace>.
  22.      For a description of the operation of these keys, press <F1> a second time.

  24.                         EDITOR HELP
  25.      To delete a block of text, press <F5> at one end of the block.  Then move the cursor to the other end of the block and press <Del>.
  26.      To move a block of text, delete it as explained above. Next, position the cursor where you want to paste the text. Finally, press <Ins> to insert the text at the current cursor location.  You can press <Ins> multiple times to duplicate the block of text.

  28.       OVERWRITE FILE HELP
  29.      If you want to overwrite the existing file, answer YES. Otherwise, answer NO or press <Esc>.

  31.              EXISTING FILES HELP
  32.      The list you are viewing is a list of the files in the current directory.  Use the <Up-Arrow>, <Down-Arrow>, <PgUp>, <PgDn>, <Ctrl-PgUp> and <Ctrl-PgDn> to move the highlight to the file you wish to edit and press <Enter>.

  34.                   SAVE FILE HELP
  35.      Type in the name of the file you wish to save the current changes to and press <Enter>. If you wish to save the current changes to a file in another directory you must include the path along with the filename.
  36.      You can get a list of the files and directories in the current directory by pressing <Ins>.
