  8. Simple viewer for taking quick looks inside dBASE-compatible .DBF files in
  9. record & browse modes.  Does single-field, scan-across searches.  File
  10. header info, including field definitions, can be displayed either in
  11. interpreted (human-readable) format, or as hex bytes.  New:  Select files
  12. for viewing from a pop-up, scrollable directory window.  Dates now display
  13. as appropriate based on DOS's country-dependent info (e.g. dd-mm-yy for
  14. Europe & yy-mm-dd for Japan).

  17.        TITLE:  Cyclic Redundancy Checker v1.20, 02/08/92

  19. Displays 16- and 32-bit CRC's of files or directory contents.  16-bit CRC
  20. same as for ARC, LZH, LZS, PAK and ZOO files.  32-bit CRC same as for ARJ
  21. and ZIP.  "CRC filespec" displays individual CRC's for the specified
  22. file(s).  "CRC path" displays accumulated CRC's of all files contained in
  23. the specified directory.  May be used to compare files/directories on
  24. physically separated machines, or to see if changes have occurred over time.
  25. New:  The functions of both CRC v1.14 and CRCDIR v1.00 have been combined
  26. into a single program.

  32. Directory lister & utility for ARC ARJ LZH LZS PAK ZIP ZOO.  Displays sorted
  33. member names by default.  Converts self-extracting (SFX) archives to normal
  34. archives.  Resets archive dates/times to match newest member.  Strips extra
  35. bytes from ends of ARJ/LZH/ZIP files.  Strips/attaches ZIP file comments.
  36. Sorts ZIP/LZH files on disk.  New:  Fixes bug when displaying compressed
  37. file attributes.

  45. COM/EXE files are displayed in the right window.  Compress and uncompress
  46. individual and groups of files from within the program.  Navigate between
  47. drives/directories by pointing and shooting.  New:  Extends recognition of
  48. files compressed with LZEXE (hacked headers) and DIET (additional headers).

  54. Smaller, simpler version of DirX for when you just want a listing of
  55. compressed and uncompressed files.  Listing is redirectable to printer or
  56. file.  Mimicks DOS's DIR command, to an extent.  No sorting is performed.

  64. Contains two equivalent programs, written entirely in C and Modula-2,
  65. respectively, which display 16-bit CRC values of files specified from the
  66. command line.  This is the same 16-bit CRC used for ARC, LZH, LZS, PAK and
  67. ZOO files.  C and Modula-2 source included.  Minor revision from v1.00.

  73. Allows you to see how a ZIP file is laid out on disk.  Uses windowing to
  74. step down to lower levels of detail.  Displays record offsets and most field
  75. values, including their interpretation.  Admittedly, this program isn't for
  76. everyone.  For the curious and those with a need to know, however, this
  77. program displays technical data on actual ZIP files that I haven't seen in
  78. any other program.  There are no switches.  Usage: ZFV zipfile

  84. A binary editor which allows easy editing of any file regardless of
  85. attributes.  Searches available from within a file:  1) text search, with
  86. wildcard support and 2) byte search, which can find arbitrary sequences of
  87. bytes specified by the user, including nulls, machine code and binary data.
  88. Also includes a scroll bar indicating relative file position, file header
  89. support and 256-byte default records.

  95. This program will find any file or subdirectory on your hard disk, including
  96. hidden and system files.  Wildcards are accepted.  Improvements to this
  97. version include an overall increase in speed and a smaller executable
  98. filesize.  Modula-2 source code included.

  104. This program will remove entire subdirectory trees from your hard disk -
  105. even those containing read-only, hidden and system files and directories.
  106. It will even delete the current directory.  The executable file for this
  107. version is significantly smaller than before.  Modula-2 source code
  108. included.

  114. A simple, pop-up calendar display program that can be used as a sort of
  115. perpetual calendar.  Valid years range from 0001 to 9999 (arbitrary).  This
  116. program is NOT memory-resident.  Scroll through the different months and
  117. years.  Although the executable file is stand-alone, I don't consider this
  118. to be a complete program.  I've contemplated using the included routines as
  119. the starting point for a scheduling program, for example.  Modula-2 source
  120. code included.
