  1.                 GOLDEN CHOCOLATE TREASURE COOKIES

  4. 1-1/2 c. flour
  5. 3/4 t. baking soda
  6. 3/4 t. salt
  7. 3/4 c. brown sugar
  8. 3/4 c. butter, softened
  9.  
  10. 1 egg
  11. 1/2 t. vanilla
  12. 10 oz. (1-1/2 c.) semi-sweet
  13.     Treasures baking pieces
  14. 1 c. chopped pecans or walnutsBeat brown sugar and butter until creamy, 3 to 5 minutes. 
  15. Add egg and vanilla.  Gradually blend in dry ingredients.  Stir
  16. in Treasures and nuts.  Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto
  17. ungreased cookie sheets.  Bake at 375 for 8 to 10 minutes.  Let
  18. stand 2 minutes before removing from sheets.  Makes about 18
  19. cookies, 2-1/2 inches.
