  1.              MARSHALL FIELD'S CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

  4. 1 c. butter
  5. 1/2 c. brown sugar
  6. 3/4 c. sugar
  7. 1 t. salt
  8. 1 t. baking soda
  9.  
  10. 3 c. flour
  11. 3 eggs
  12. 1 t. vanilla
  13. 24 oz. chocolate chips
  14. 1-1/2 c. chopped walnutsCream butter and sugars.  Add remaining ingredients in order
  15. given.  Do not overmix.  Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie
  16. sheets.  Bake at 350 degrees for 7 minutes.  Makes 2-1/2 dozen
  17. large cookies.
