  2.     This patch for "Police Quest II" has been updated to correct a
  3.     minor flaw that was not apparent at first.  The original patch
  4.     allowed you to simply hit [Enter] when prompted for a criminal's
  5.     name, but as I found later, only if you didn't let the intro run
  6.     to completion by hitting a key.
  7.  
  8.     This updated patch will work whether the intro is run through or
  9.     if it's cut short by a keypress.  
  10.  
  11.     The updated version can be "patched" to either a copy of your
  12.     original SIERRA.EXE file or one patched with the previous version
  13.     by this author.  See the READ.ME file for an explanation of this
  14.     process.

  16.     All work was done with the version of "Police Quest II" that had
  17.     a ".QA" file named (dated) P2112688.QA.
