If anyone out there needs help with Commander Keen:"Secret of the
Oracle", I would be happy to answer any questions and give hints. Also,
help for the original Keen trilogy is no problem and if you have ANY
problems with video card compatibility, I'd really like to know about
it. There have been a couple problems with older non-standard EGA video
cards where the screen "jitters" and we are currently fixing the
problem.
One bug that was in "Secret of the Oracle" (the first episode of the
"Goodbye, Galaxy!" duo) was when you saved the game and loaded it later,
the gems you had didn't show up. That has been fixed. Scott Miller
should have a current version of it (I'm not sure if he uploaded it yet
or not...)
Anyway, hope you all like the game. Just wait until February 1st.

I was wondering if the commander keen game good bye galaxy is hampered
in any way? I and a friend were trying it out and I've made it through
all the cities and stuff except the pyramid with the hand...Is there a
trick to getting in there?

Hey Everybody,
I don't get all the big fuss about passing the Isle of
Tar, If all you want to do is get past it, got the the right for a bit
and take a BIG jump, you'll land on a little space in front of a tar
pool, then just go up to the exit. It's as simple as that <grin>.
...Cameron Christensen
P.S. That's the only way that I've ever passed it, I tried and tried,
but couldn't get through the whole thing.

If anyone does not want to know about the extra Keen lives in the Border
Village, DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER!
To get the extra lives, you must be down in the underground passage over
on the left side of the far left green slime tub. You must use your
pogo and jump up until Keen's head disappears in the rocks. Right
before Keen's head touches the ceiling, you must turn off the pogo and
try to grab the ceiling by pushing your joystick forward. It is a very
difficult move that may take many tries. If you do it just right, Keen
will lift himself up into a room in the ceiling. You must then pogo off
a stationary platform to get the extra life bottles. The platform will
fall down if you try to do a normal jump. That's all there is to it!
You then exit out a door at the top.
I found this by accident the second time I was playing the game. I was
searching for anything hidden in the walls and ceiling and just kind of
lucked into finding it.
Now would someone tell me how to get Keen to pull his pants down?

I think I have found a bug in Keen 4. When I save a game with keys that
I have found and restore the game later, the keys are gone and I get
stuck in the area I'm in until I die. Help would be appreciated. HFC

Well, I just finished the Well of Wishes. I almost gave up; trying to
find a trick to the big fish. Just found ways of outmanuevering them
but didn't score many points in that level.
Now, I have to wait until the next episodes arrive in the mail. Scott,
any idea of shipping dates?

Any help I could get in the Isle of Tar area in Good-bye Galaxy would be
greatly appreciated. Specifically, where do I find my first gem. I've
been everyhere except where it is.. I've found lots of tar but no gems.
Also, has anyone gotten to the.. hmm, what is the name of that area. Oh
well I forget the name, but it is where CK swims underwater. If anyone
hasd gotten that far, could you tell me how you got past those DopyFish?
thanx, Mykyl
