Although you could change the values in the State validation file in ì
earlier versions of this program, that ability to alter values has been ì
removed since this data is static. In addition to states and territories, ì
you can also have these two entries: '--' and 'NA'. Either value could be ì
used for foreign countries.

OPTION 3:
==============
Toggle 'Detour' Help screens:
Throughout the program, numerous 'Detour' Help screens appear to offer ì
additional information to you. As you become conversant with the processes ì
covered in them, feel free to turn this option 'Off'. Once option 3 is ì
selected 'Off', ALL 'Detour' Help screens are turned off.
==============
OPTION 4:
==============
Untag all 'tagged' records:
Whenever you are in the Debtor file, Get option, you will observe this on ì
the bottom left of your screen:
F2 Tag/
Untag
By entering this key repeatedly, you can make any individual record ì
'tagged' or 'not tagged'. By default, ALL records are 'not tagged'. When ì
you enter 'F2', you will see 'Tagged Record' appear on the top of the ì
screen of the record you are examining. è
This ability to individually select out records is independent of any codes ì
you enter into the Comments fields or any other selection criteria.
When you wish to 'untag' all records, go to the Other Options Menu and ì
observe option:
4) 'Untag' all records in the Debtor file
==============
OPTION 5:
==============
Activate 'tagging' option in Debtor Add:
During data entry in the Debtor file, Add option, you have an additional ì
option that allows you to make each record record 'tagged' or 'untagged'.
==============
OPTION 6:

You select this option when you want to become a registered user.
==============
OPTION 7:

OPTION 8:
==============
This option allows you to look at the last report you sent to a disk file. ì
When you are at the various report menus, you have the option, just as you ì
are about to print out the report, of sending that report to a disk file ìèinstead. Option 8, Other Options Menu, is where you look at the most ì
recent report that you sent to the disk.
==============
OPTION 9:
==============
Option 9 reindexes all files. This is necessary only if you have ì
recently restored old data or are unsure if the indexes are all right. ì
Sometimes, the indexes become confused if the computer becomes locked up ì
during data entry. This is common enough. If you are having a hard time ì
locating records that you know are in your files, try reindexing them and ì
see if that makes any difference.

OPTION "A"
==============
Crisis restoration from Category Zero:
This crisis option should never be used unless you first speak to Paul Sax, ì
(214) 690-6017. Internally, the program uses Category '0' records to ì
manipulate data. These records, however, are defined as invisible and do ì
not appear in reports. Generally speaking, you cannot create any Category ì
'0' records, with one exception. In the Category Select Menu, Merge Opì
tion, you may inadvertently convert ALL visible records to Category '0'. ì
If this happens and you have not made any backups recently, then option 'A' ì
in this menu will bring back all of your records as Category '1'.
