Optical Character Recognition
OCR Product-Comparisons
High-end and middle-level categories of optical character
recognition (OCR) software, priced below $3,000, are now
available, as well as traditional products that are limited to
reading monospaced typewriter output. At the high-end are
'page recognition' packages, such as OmniPage and TrueScan.
These products facilitate archiving of printed material.
