  3. THE FINAL REPLAY V0.8 ROM IS OUT

  5. TFR 0.8 for the Retro Replay cartridge
  6. is out. V0.7 had a few bugfixes & a few
  7. new features. V0.8 includes a bug fix
  8. of one of those new features.

  10. Changelog V0.7:
  11. - Fixed: Fast format available again.
  12. - Fixed: Removed a possible crash in
  13. the DOS command.
  14. - Fixed: Monitor can now save RAM below
  15. $A000-$BFFF ROM.
  16. - Added: New BASIC command SETIP to
  17. change IP address.
  18. - Added: New DOS"D:(header),(id)"
  19. command to change disk header.
  20. - Added: INFO command now shows network
  21. addresses & number of rasterlines.

  91. his nice web browser: the SINGULAR
  92. BROWSER. In a matter of days, he
  93. released v0.2, v0.3 & now v0.4 of it.
  94. Singular browser supports RR-Net & TFE
  95. (The Final Ethernet). You may adjust
  96. your IP settings using the included
  97. tool IPconfig.

  100. 1. Load IPconfig & type LIST.
  101. 2. Adjust your IP settings.
  102. 3. Type RUN to save the
  103. IPconfig-default file.

  105. Some hints:
  106. 1. Notice: An already existing
  107. IPconfig-default file must be deleted
  108. before running IPconfig.
  109. 2. If the programm displays "Press
  110. record & play on tape" after running
  111. it, replace "Peek(186)" in line 10 by

  132. The latest version of VICE (v1.21) has
  133. been released earlier this month. Visit

  138. in this release. An interesting new
  139. feature is MMC64 emulation. The dump of
  140. an MMC64 BIOS is required for that. You
  141. can find such a dump at retrohackers
  142. .org Forum. Notice you will also need
  143. the image of a MMC/SD card to emulate
  144. MMC64 in VICE. To create an image of
  145. your MMC/SD Card, you can use e.g.
  146. WinImage or dd.exe.

  158. NETMON V0.3 FOR RR-NET
  159.  
  160. hannenz has released v0.3 of NetMon, a
  161. tool to control & monitor your C64
  162. remotely via RR-Net. It uses UDP over
  163. IP & new features in v0.3 includes
  164. custom IP-addresses. NetMon is
  165. perfectly suited for cross developing
  166. as it gives you full access to the
  167. entire C64 RAM, including REU, &
  168. devices on the serial bus. Clients for
  169. both Windows & Linux are available.
