  1. Naval Electronics Technician (Communications)

  3. Responsible for the maintenance of all shipboard internal and external communications equipment (including UHF/VHF/HF/LF radios, encryption/decryption equipment, distribution and control systems, and personal computer/local area network equipment) and associated systems.
  4. Training ΓÇö Initial occupation training consist of approximately 14 to 18 months at the Canadian Forces Naval Engineering School in Halifax, Nova Scotia. 
  5. Accreditation ΓÇö Training accredited by International Electronic Technician Articulation Committee (IETAC) and the Canadian Technology Accreditation Board (CTAB).
