  1. The following commands are available from the SEARCH menu:

  3. BROWSE RECORDS
  4. This selection gives you an alphabetical index of the 3600+ records in Guinness.
  5.  
  6. WORD SEARCH
  7. This selection helps you find references to a word or set of words in Guinness.
  8.  
  9. TOPIC INDEX 
  10. The Topic Index lets you explore Guinness by subject, gradually refining your search from a broad topic through subtopics to individual records on your subject.
  11.  
  12. RANDOM RECORDS
  13. The Random Record Explorer allows you to browse records at random. Each Random Record is displayed for about 5 seconds.
  14.  
  15. SUPERLATIVE INDEX 
  16. The Superlative Index lets you explore Guinness using terms such as "tallest," "longest," etc.  
  17.  
  18. PICTURE INDEX 
  19. This gives you an index of all of the pictures in Guinness, sorted by topic.
  20.  
  21. MOVIE INDEX 
  22. This gives you an index of all of the movies in Guinness, sorted by topic.
