Poker, Copyright (c) John Cleland 1995-1996
I do not want to have to deal with licensing my programs, nor do I want to sell
crippleware, so Poker is donation-ware. This means that Poker may
be used for private non-commercial or educational purposes without charge. If you
wish you may show your appreciation by sending me a donation to encourage me to
keep up the good work. If you are a fellow programmer donations of your software
would also be appreciated. I also like to get postcards, e-mail and bug reports.

Poker 2.1 Release Notes
=======================
This is a alpha release of Poker.
Poker is a poker hand simulator for Windows 95 and NT 4.0. It allows you to set up
conditions and then simulate thousands of hands to guage the odds. It plays five
card stud, seven card stud and Texas Hold'em. All games can be played for high,
low or split. While it does not really do draw games as it will not decide what
cards to draw it can still be used to play "what if" with starting hands or draws.
Installation
============
Read this file.
Copy Poker.exe to any directory and create a shortcut to it.
Enjoy!
Known Bugs
==========
Low hands without a 8-7 qualifier are not scored correctly. This version
is unable to recognize a low if it is worse than king high. For example
if all players are paired or worse Poker will not attribute any hand with
a valid low even though there is no qualification for the low.
Features to be added in the NEXT release
========================================
Fix the low hand bug.
Printing support.
Clipboard copy for result information so it can be copied to another
document.
Statistics on how often a given type of hand won. E.g. in a 5 player game
how often did high card win.
Have fun.
John.
