  3. Installing the games on this disc is as easy as 1-2-3.
  4.  
  5. 1.  Select a game to install.
  6. 2.  Click the INSTALL button.
  7. 3.  Use the icons created.
  8.  
  9. May games will also run directly off the disc.  Click the START 
  10. program button to launch the program.  Some programs may require
  11. installation to run succesfully.  This is due to the nature of the
  12. technology of these games.

  15. After installing most games will be ready to use.  
  16. However some may require an additional install or setup program.
  17. If this is the case you we see a icon named "INSTALL.EXE" or 
  18. "SETUP.EXE"  in the program group created by the browser.  Just double-
  19. click this icon to complete the games installation.

  21. Troubleshooting
  22.  
  23. - The game won't start.  It begins, but then quits.
  24.  
  25. A. Some games need to be configured for the type of equipment such as
  26. sound card and joystick before they run.  Look for a icon with the word
  27. "setup", "set", or "config" to complete the setup.
  28.  
  29. - Game won't start.  An error message comes up saying a file is missing. 
  30.  
  31. A. Sometimes common files are not included in each game to save space.  
  32. Copy the files from the \VBRUN directory on the CD-ROM to your
  33. C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.

  35. - The game starts, but then freezes.
  36.  
  37. A. Try exiting Windows and starting the game in DOS.  Windows
  38. conflicts with some DOS games.
  39.  
  40. - I install the add-on level, but I can't play it.
  41.  
  42. A.  Add-on levels are not made to be played without the game they were
  43. made for.  If you don't already have the game, you must first purchase
  44. it and install it on your computer to use the level.
  45.  
  46. - Nothing seems to help.  The program just won't run.
  47.  
  48. A.  First check for additional instructions in the program group.  
  49. Look for icons with names like "readme" or "game.txt"
