  5. Requirements
  6. ------------
  7. The Maze Game requires Windows version 3.0 or higher.  It runs 
  8. in standard or enhanced mode, and possibly in real mode (at 
  9. least it does with DOS 5.0 on a 386 running HIMEM.SYS).

  11. About The Maze Game
  12. -------------------
  13. The Maze Game creates mazes for one player to solve 
  14. interactively.  The mazes can be any of several different 
  15. sizes, and each can be played with a variety of options.  
  16. Options control such things as how much of the maze is visible 
  17. at once, if the visible portions are persistent, and if dead 
  18. ends should be blocked.

  20. When playing The Maze Game three different types of movement 
  21. can be used: short moves (each move is to an adjacent square in 
  22. the maze); medium moves (each move is to the next decision 
  23. point, dead end or blocking wall); and long moves (each move is 
  24. to the next decision point or dead end which may be around 
  25. several corners).

  27. Installation
  28. ------------
  29. To install The Maze Game, select Run from the File menu of the 
  30. Program Manager, File Manager or MS-DOS executive, and enter 
  31. a:\install (or b:\install).  The install program will prompt 
  32. you for the source directory (e.g., a:\) and the destination 
  33. path (e.g., c:\games).  Optionally you can add The Maze Game to 
  34. the Program Manager group of your choice.

  36. Alternatively, you can just copy all the files to your hard 
  37. disk.

  50. The Maze Game is distributed as shareware, it is not freeware 
  51. or public domain software.  The author retains all rights to 
  52. the software.  You may freely make copies of The Maze Game to
