The Maze Game - Version 4.0
Copyright (C) 1987-1991 by Michael B Taylor.
All Rights Reserved.
Requirements
------------
The Maze Game requires Windows version 3.0 or higher. It runs
in standard or enhanced mode, and possibly in real mode (at
least it does with DOS 5.0 on a 386 running HIMEM.SYS).
About The Maze Game
-------------------
The Maze Game creates mazes for one player to solve
interactively. The mazes can be any of several different
sizes, and each can be played with a variety of options.
Options control such things as how much of the maze is visible
at once, if the visible portions are persistent, and if dead
ends should be blocked.
When playing The Maze Game three different types of movement
can be used: short moves (each move is to an adjacent square in
the maze); medium moves (each move is to the next decision
point, dead end or blocking wall); and long moves (each move is
to the next decision point or dead end which may be around
several corners).
Installation
------------
To install The Maze Game, select Run from the File menu of the
Program Manager, File Manager or MS-DOS executive, and enter
a:\install (or b:\install). The install program will prompt
you for the source directory (e.g., a:\) and the destination
path (e.g., c:\games). Optionally you can add The Maze Game to
the Program Manager group of your choice.
Alternatively, you can just copy all the files to your hard
disk.
Packing List
------------
The full Maze Game Package consists of 4 files.
