SIMPLEY is a two person game (one of which can be the computer).
Each player has a board with 16 letters arranged randomly. The
object is to take away as many letters from your opponent as
possible. You do this by swapping letters that are next to each
other (touching on a side or a corner) on your own board so that
one or both of your letters end up in the same location as the
same letters on the opponent's board. The amount of time to make
a swap is limited and can be set before the game is started.
If you time out, you lose your turn and some points. If you
can't come up with a good move, you can let the computer make a
move for you, at a price. The number of swaps or moves that each
player can make in one game can also be set before the game is
started. The letters have fixed values: A=1, B=2, and so on. It
is possible to play a set of games. In this case the scores are
accmulated. Instructions are available on line at any time.
These can also be printed.
