  4. Here's something new, Heretic WADS. You use them the same way as Doom
  5. WADS (surprising he?). 
  6.  
  7. We ran across these two on Compuserve, they were pretty interesting so
  8. we decided to run them on The CD. Here are their filenames.
  9.  
  10. MOJO.ZIP
  11. HUNTED.ZIP
  12.  
  13. All of these files can be found in the \HERETIC directory on our CD. As 
  14. always, just copy the files into your HERETIC directory (or wherever you 
  15. installed the game).

  18. RUNNING WADS
  19. If you're wondering what to do with a Heretic WAD once you copy it into your 
  20. \HERETIC directory, here are a few tips.
  21.  
  22. There's usually a TXT file for you to read, and some even include a batch 
  23. file for loading the WAD. If you're left clueless, the standard procedure 
  24. is to type:    HERETIC -FILE WADNAME.WAD
  25.  
  26. * where HERETIC = your Heretic executable command
  27. * where -FILE = would appear just as it is 
  28. * where WADNAME.WAD = is the name of the WAD file you wish to load
  29.  
  30. i.e. If the WAD name is MOJO.WAD, you'd type:  
  31. HERETIC -FILE MOJO.WAD.
  32.  
  33. This doesn't always work, they're just general guidelines. As with all WADS, 
  34. updates, add-ons or patches make sure your original files are backed up. PC 
  35. Gamer will not accept any responsibility for problems caused by these files.
