  5.         NOTES FOR DEMO VERSION

  7.         This demo version of Machiavelli the Prince contains 
  8.         a limited game; some features are disabled, and you're 
  9.         limited to 15 turns.  Otherwise all art and gameplay 
  10.         are identical to the production version.
  11.  
  12.         To set up your soundcard, and for other configuration 
  13.         information, type INSTALL at your DOS prompt. We have 
  14.         not included the digitized sounds present in the full game, 
  15.         as they doubled the size of the demo.

  26.         world, rule the high seas and trade with more than 40 
  27.         cities in 14th century Italy in Machiavelli the Prince, 
  28.         a strategic world conquest game.

  30.         Machiavelli the Prince allows gamers to achieve their 
  31.         goals through both military action and political and 
  32.         religious manipulation. Bribery, piracy and assassinations 
  33.         are only a few of the methods used to conquer the world.

  35.         This strategy game gives gamers many opportunities 
  36.         to rule the world:

  38.         Make money trading exotic goods over land and sea 
  39.         
  40.         Play on an historical map or in a randomly-generated world

  42.         Compete against the computer or against up to three

  45.         Manipulate political and religious institutions using a

  48.         Experience game play variety due to a random-event generator
