  20. Misc. Author Info       : I'm kRaYZee.  I made gory graphics for DOOM 1,
  21.                           I hacked DEU for use with Heretic (gore coming soon
  22.                           for Heretic! Look for it!), I have released
  23.                           several levels for DOOM 2 (being converted to
  24.                           Heretic as we speak, and they will be released as
  25.                           a set).  I am owner of Happy Napalm Software
  26.                           (formerly known as One On One Software, we were
  27.                           told by someone that there is a toy company by the
  28.                           name of One On One, so rather than cause trouble,
  29.                           we now call ourselves Happy Napalm.  I like it
  30.                           better, anyways.)  Look for DOOM Gore v3.0 and DOOM
  31.                           2 Gore v1.0 koming soon.  It will contain new
  32.                           graphics for stuff from DOOM and the stuff from
  33.                           DOOM 2 will be the same with more added to it.

  35. Description             : This is an update to DOOM Gore v2.0 and a preview
  36.                           of DOOM 2 Gore v1.0.  It has most of the same
  37.                           graphics as version 2.0, except for a new normal
  38.                           death for the Sargent, and a few bug fixes, a new
  39.                           title screen, and for users of DOOM 2, the Hell
  40.                           Knight, Arch-Vile, and Baby Spider Demon.

  65. Known Bugs              : Some of the graphics stretch out and go through the
  66.                           wall due to being too big, but this is not a bug.
  67.                           This will be fixed in the next version.  If you beat
  68.                           the game in DOOM 2, it will crash out to DOS.  This
  69.                           is because the DOOM 1 graphics were not put into the
  70.                           pwad with the right coordinates.  This should be
  71.                           fixed in the next version also.

  75. Authors may NOT use these graphics as a base to build additional DOOM add-ons.
  76. DO NOT use the graphics or you will surely feel the wrath of Chainsaw.  If you
  77. want to help me on a new version of the graphics, you can contact me on many
  78. BBSs in the Cincinnati area.  You'll definately be able to find me on
  79. Cincinnati Multiplayer Connection BBS, which supports multiplayer DOOM and
  80. Heretic, along with many other games.  Try it out.  It rules.

  82. You MAY distribute this WAD, provided you include this file, with
  83. no modifications.  You may distribute this file in any electronic
  84. format (BBS, Diskette, CD, etc) as long as you include this file 
  85. intact.  PC Gamer has my permision to put this file on their CD or disk.

  98.         You should have recieved the following files with this program:
  99. DMGSE.BAT    - This file will install the program for you.
  100. DMG25T.WAD   - This is the file for DOOM with non-sprite graphics.
  101. DM2G05T.WAD  - This is the file for DOOM 2 with non-sprite graphics.
  102. DMGSEGFX.WAD - This is the file with the changed graphics.
  103. DMGSEGF2.WAD - This is needed for DOOM 1 installation.
  104. DMGSE.TXT    - This is the file you are looking at right now.
  105. DEUSF.EXE    - This is needed to create the final DOOM 2 PWAD, which, by the
  106.                way, is almost 4 megs.
  107. DMADDS11.EXE - This is needed to create the final DOOM 1 PWAD.
  108. DMGRAPH.EXE  - This is needed for DOOM 1 installation.
  109. AAPLAY.EXE   - This is needed for viewing the GIFs.
  110. FILE_ID.DIZ  - This is the description file used by BBSs everywhere.
  111.                It's 666 bytes, hehehe.
  112. DMGSE.GIF    - This is the title screen for the batch file.  Check out the
  113.                burning heads.  Hehehe.
  114. HNAPALM.GIF  - This is our new call sign.  A form of it will be included with
  115.                every Happy Napalm program.  Next time it might be animated.

  118.         To install the new gory graphics, type DMGSE at the DOS prompt.
  119. A menu will appear and you should be able to figure it out.

  121. To run the graphics, type:

  123. DOOM -file DMG25T.WAD DMG25SE.WAD
  124. for DOOM 1 or
  125.  
  126. DOOM2 -file DM2G05T.WAD DM2G05SE.WAD
  127. for DOOM 2.

  129. If you want to use another PWAD with these, put it's name AFTER these WAD
  130. names when you type it, otherwise, it may not show up when you are playing.
