  30.    How to play Frogger 2
  31.  
  32. The object of Frogger 2 is to collect the baby frogs scattered around the
  33. widely varying worlds. When all the babies in a level are collected,
  34. Frogger can move to the next level.

  38. Slurp up sparkly flies for power ups!

  112. When you first start Frogger2, you will be presented with a dialog box 
  113. representing video card settings. The main area is a list of available
  114. graphics devices. If you have a dedicated 3D card then that will probably be
  115. the best choice - otherwise, choose the best 3D device available. If you do
  116. not have a 3D capable card, select Software Renderer.

  133. There are several possible causes of unsatisfactory video performace:
  134.  
  135. a:  Check your system specification. Systems slower than a P200 MMX with 
  136.     3D capability may run quite slowly.
  137.  
  138. b:  The default screen resolution for Frogger2 is 640x480. If you have a fast PC 
  139.     then selecting a higher resolution will give improved visual quality at the
  140.     expense of some speed. If you find that the game runs too slowly, try selecting
  141.     a lower resolution. Subsequent to the first time you start the game, the 
  142.     configuration dialog can be found by running the Reconfigure Frogger shortcut 
  143.     from the Start Menu.

  145. c:  Outdated or incorrect drivers can also result in slow video performance. Visit
  146.     your graphics card manufacturers website for the latest drivers for your card.
  147.     If none are available, try using the reference drivers for your graphics chipset.

  179. The software and all images, photography, animations, video, audio, music and text
  180. contained on the enclosed CD-ROM and this manual, (together, æthe ProductÆ) are protected
  181. by copyright and other intellectual property rights which are owned by or licensed to
  182. Hasbro Interactive Limited of 2 Roundwood Avenue, Stockley Park, Uxbridge, UB11 1AZ, UK
  183. (æHasbroÆ).

  185. Hasbro grants to you as the original purchaser of this Product a non-transferable right to
  186. use the Product for your own personal and private use and not in connection with any
  187. business activity. Unless otherwise permitted by law, no part of this Product may be
  188. copied, reproduced, translated, modified, decompiled or reduced into any electronic or
  189. other form without the prior written consent of Hasbro. You may not rent or lease, or sell
  190. or transfer copies of the Product or any part of it.

  192. 2. Warranty
  193. Hasbro warrants to you only that for a period of ninety days from purchase the Product will
  194. perform substantially in accordance with the specifications set out in this manual and that
  195. the original CD-ROM disk itself will be free from defects in materials and workmanship.

  197. During this period the Product, if defective, will be replaced free of charge if returned
  198. to Hasbro at Caswell Way, Newport, Gwent, NP9 0YH, together with a dated proof of purchase,
  199. a brief description of the defect and the address to which it is to be returned. Any
  200. replacement will be warranted for a further 90 day period. This warranty does not affect
  201. your statutory rights in any way.

  203. This warranty does not apply to defects caused by misuse, neglect, incorrect installation,
  204. damage, alteration, repair or excessive wear.
