They are small wormholes in the fabric of time and space which can transport extractors to unknown destinations. However, a new breed of these swirly ports has been documented on the hanging worlds. These ports are mobile and can move around, homing in on the nearest living creature and transporting it away. Be careful not to be trapped down corridors. In normal circumstances, these ports are best avoided, however, if facing certain doom it can be desirable to hurl yourself into one, and hope for the best.
