@S - Configure Sound
If you have a sound card you may need to alter some of
the settings for World Cup Golf to operate properly.
The default settings already configured are normally
correct for most PC sound card set-ups. Use this facility
to change the ^DMA address, port address and interrupt
^number^ used by your sound card if you are experiencing
any problems.

@I - Install Game
World Cup Golf requires a small amount of hard disk space
for temporary files, start-up files and configuration files.
This may be set up on a drive and directory of your choice.
The install sub-menu allows you to select a drive and
directory, then installs the necessary files from the CD.

@V - View Readme
The Readme file contains information and notes that could
not be included in the manual. Please read through this
before playing the game.

@X - Exit to DOS
Exit from this installation program and return to DOS.

@P - Edit Path
If you do not wish Word Cup Golf to be installed
on the default directory chosen by this installation
program, use this menu selection to enter a
directory of your choice.

@D - Change Drive
If you do not wish Word Cup Golf to be installed
on the default drive chosen by this installation
program, use this menu selection to select a drive
of your choice. The selector box shows the space
in megabytes available on your fixed disk drives.

@I - Install from CD
When you are sure that your have selected the drive,
directory and sound card settings that you require
World Cup Golf to use, use this menu selection to
install and configure World Cup Golf on your PC.

@M - Main Menu
This menu selection takes you back to the main menu
of this installation program.

@C - Sound Blaster Compatible
If your PC sound card is Sound Blaster compatible,
select this option to ensure World Cup Golf will
function correctly with your equipment.

@S - Sound Blaster & Roland
If your PC sound card is a Creative Labs Sound Blaster
or a Roland, select this option to ensure World Cup
Golf will function correctly with your equipment.

@G - Gravis Ultrasound
If your PC sound card is a Gravis Ultrasound,
select this option to ensure World Cup Golf will
function correctly with your equipment.

@N - No sound
If your PC is not equipped with a sound card,
or you do not wish sound to be available within
World Cup Golf, select this option.

@I - IRQ number
The PC has several ^interrupt requests^ which briefly
interrupt program execution to perform various tasks
such as updating the DOS clock timers, and in the case
of World Cup Golf, updating the information required
by your sound card. If an interrupt request number
on your PC has been set up (perhaps on your CONFIG.SYS
file) in a way which clashes with the default IRQ
number selected by World Cup Golf for your sound card,
you may need to use this menu selection. A selector box
will appear, and you can select another IRQ number from
a list of those available.

@P - Port address
The PC has many different ^port addresses^ which allow
it to communicate with external devices and plug-in cards
and so forth. If for whatever reason the default port
address selected for your sound card by this installation
program cannot be used, you may need to use this
menu selection. A selector box will appear, and you can
select another port address from a list of those available.

@D - DMA channel
The PC has many different ^Direct Memory Access^ channels
which allow devices such as your sound card to access memory
without stealing valuable time from your 386, 486 or Pentium
processor. If for whatever reason the default DMA channel
selected for your sound card by this installation program
cannot be used, you may need to use this menu selection.
A selector box will appear, and you can select another
DMA channel from a list of those available.

@R - Restore defaults
If you have accidentally changed sound card setting, or your
settings do not function properly, you can use this menu
selection to restore the defaults for your sound card stored
by this installation program.

@C - Cancel
This menu selection cancels any changes you may have made
to the sound settings and restores the settings that were
present when you entered this menu.

@A - Accept these
This menu selection accepts the sound card settings
presently displayed and returns to the previous menu.
