  1. Readme for DogDay demo
  2. ----------------------
  3.  
  4. This is a fully playable demo of DogDay with no punches pulled!
  5. Unfortunately, we cannot demo more of the final game as DogDay is
  6. rather intensive as far as file sizes go. (Do not worry, the released 
  7. version only needs a few kBytes)
  8.  
  9. For this demo you will need around either several kBytes or 53+Mb HardDisk space 
  10. (depending on whether you do a Maximum install or not)
  11.  
  12. Please note that DogDay requires DirectX version 2 or better to be installed 
  13. prior to running DogDay.

  16. Installation
  17. ------------
  18.  
  19. Double click on SETUP.EXE and follow the wizard's questions. When all is finished you
  20. will notice an icon on your desktop called DogDemo
  21.  
  22.  
  23. Running DogDay
  24. --------------
  25. -Double-click on the 'DogDemo' icon on your desktop or double-click on DogDay.EXE 
  26. which will be located in the root Directory you installed to (eg C:\GAMES\DOGDEMO\DOGDAY.EXE).

  28. -Just click on parts of the screen you wish and things will happen...
  29. -To use an object that you have picked up, simply Drag'n'Drop it where
  30. you want to use it.
  31. -Right-clicking gives you a Context Menu allowing you to 
  32.     -i) Change Settings (Full screen 8/6-bit, Video speed, etc, etc)
  33.     -ii) Save or Load a game
  34.     -iii) Record what you are doing!
  35.     -iv) Exit

  37. Unisntallation
  38. --------------
  39. Delete all files in the directory you installed to. 
  40. That's it!
