  5. The patch should include the following files:

  7.     MAXRUN.NEW   (New Max EXE file)
  8.     READMET.NEW  (Text version of the readme file)
  9.     READMEW.NEW  (Windows Write version of the readme file)
  10.     PATCH.BAT    (Batch file to update MAX to 1.04)
  11.     PATCH.TXT    (This file)

  14. To install the MAX Patch, copy all files into your current MAX subdirectory
  15. and type:

  17.       PATCH  <enter>
  18.  
  19. This will rename your current files with a .000 extension and update your
  20. MAX version to 1.04.
