  6. IMPORTANT: The file format of saved games has changed in v1.12, so you should not
  7. apply this patch if you have a tour of duty game in progress that you want to finish.
  8. Also, if you want to play over the internet, all players must be updated to v1.12.
  9. And if you "link" your squadron to Over the Reich, you must use v1.12 of Over the
  10. Reich.

  15. * Program crashes no longer occur when saving the game.
  16.  
  17. * The AI no longer dives airplanes so hard that they crash into the ground.  (Some
  18.   people reported this as "mysterious explosions"). Also, computer pilots bail out
  19.   of dead-engine airplanes at General level (instead of crashing into the ground).

  21. * It is slightly more difficult for fighters to disengage from a dogfight (you
  22.   now need a bit more separation first).

  29. * Sometimes the program crashed when the computer made its move at the General
  30.   skill level.  This has been fixed.

  32. * Sometimes pilots would be shown as "ready" and yet not allowed to take off.
  33.   This has been fixed.

  35. * Enemy reinforcements now usually appear in slightly less threatening positions.
  36.  
  37. * Upon reaching the target, formations of fighters that originally contained
  38.   bombers (but the bombers were shot down or went home) would be asked if they
  39.   wanted to dive-bomb the target even though they lacked bombs.  This has been fixed.

  41. * Occasionally the full tour of duty would end after the Battle of France when
  42.   it shouldn't have.  This no longer occurs.
