  1. INSTALLING CHESSMATES

  3. The minimum requirements to run Chessmates are:

  5. 1.)  486/33 computer. 
  6. 2.)  A mouse.
  7. 3.)  8 megs of RAM.
  8. 4.)  8 MB of hard drive space.
  9. 5.)  Chessmates is Sound Blaster compatible.
  10. 6.)  SVGA monitor.
  11. 7.)  Double-Speed cd-rom player.
  12. 8.)  Microsoft Windows 95

  14. To install the game, follow these steps:

  16. 1.)  Place the Chessmates CD into your CD-ROM drive.  Close the drive.
  17. 2.)  When prompted choose "Install Chessmates".
  18. 3.)  After installation is complete, click on the "start" button and choose "Programs"  then choose "Interplay" and finally click on "Chessmates" and you will be on your way to learning and playing the wonderful game of chess.
