  5. The patch file for Command & Conquer updates version 1.07 to version 1.19p.
  6.  
  7. To install the patch file, simply copy the PATCH.EXE and PATCH.RTP files to
  8. the directory that you installed Command & Conquer to (this is usually the
  9. C:\C&C directory).   After the files are copied, simply type PATCH to begin
  10. the update process.

  17. 1. WINDOWS 95 MODEM PLAY.

  20.      This patch improves modem play under Windows 95 for some people.
  21.      It is still highly recommended that you turn error correct/data
  22.      compression off on your modem with the correct initialization
  23.      string.  Check your modem manual for more information about this.

  72. 6. FIXES MONEY REFUND PROBLEM WHEN SELLING SILOS

  75.      The money refunded when selling a silo was being credited
  76.      incorrectly. This has been fixed. In order for a fixed
  77.      version to play with an unfixed version -- possible when
  78.      in a multiplayer game -- a special command line option
  79.      must be used. Pass the parameter "-o" to the C&C.EXE
  80.      executable.

  84. 7. COST OF NOD TURRETS CHANGED TO 600 CREDITS

  87.      The cost of Nod Turrets has changed to 600 credits. This
  88.      addresses a balance issue regarding Nod turret production.

  92. 8. NUCLEAR WEAPON STUFF
  93. --------------------------------------------------------------------------

  95.      On those missions which feature the Temple of Nod, some
  96.      people have experienced difficulty when trying to fire
  97.      the nuclear weapon. This version addresses that problem
  98.      by ensuring that the weapon is available on those missions.
  99.      If you have a saved game from one of these missions you
  100.      can get the nuclear weapon by loading the saved game and
  101.      then restarting the mission.

  105. 9. CHEATING IN VERSIONS 1.07 & 1.18P
  106. --------------------------------------------------------------------------

  108.     Some people discovered a way to cheat using versions 1.18P
  109.     and 1.07 such that it is possible to place a structure at
  110.     any position in the map, breaking the normal adjacent
  111.     building rule. This has been fixed in version 1.19P but you
  112.     should be aware that 1.19P still connects to 1.18P and 1.07,
  113.     so a person cheating with the older versions (if connected
  114.     to the version 1.19P) will cause a modem or IPX game to fail
  115.     with a "Games are out of sync" message. You read it here first.
