Here you go. One note is that the Mts. north of Elronds house is there
for a purpose because you don't want a horde of orcs from Mt. Gundabad
plundering your group right from the start.
I created this mission simply because I love the book the Hobbit by
J.R.R Tolkien. Here is a brief description. This is a one player mission but
please feel free to alter it to however you like.
You start out at Elrond's house, the white people below you, with 12
dwarfs, a mage (Gandalf), and a peasant (Bilbo). As a side objective, though
it doesn't have importance to the mission, you have to guide your group to the
Lonely Mountain, the gold mine that is filled to the max. There is a circle
of power there that you, if you like, have to put the mage, the peasant, and
2 dwarfs in. As I said this does not have any importance to the mission of
decimating the orcs. You probably won't be able to see Smaug, the black
dragon, because he goes of gets himself killed (unless you use the full map
code). I can't reveal the orc locations because that is a secret (but then
again there is that full map code). I progammed all of the other human towns
to be your ally and will join you if you go up to them. That doesn't mean
though that they won't fight each other. So don't worry when you see the
purple guys start to pound the crap out of the green guys, or vice-versa,
because they don't treat each other like allys.
If you have any questions, comments, requests, and so on (or any hints
or tips for those of you who don't like to use cheat codes) e-mail me at
owenaust@mail.nitco.com.
Enjoy the mission,
Phil Aylesworth
