  1. Madden NFL(tm) Football roster update readme (11\27\96)

  3. WARNING--You must first install the Patch before updating your rosters.
  4.         If you try to use the updated rosters without installing the
  5.         patch, you will experience erratic results.
  6.  
  7. This update will update your rosters and stats to the according week relative
  8. to the current NFL season's stats and rosters. Updating with this file will
  9. overwrite all of your current stats and rosters. Do not run this update if
  10. you wish to save your personal results and stats in Madden NFL(tm) 97. If you
  11. wish to update your game with the real, current stats and rosters of the NFL,
  12. continue and follow the below:

  14. How to update:

  16. From DOS:
  17. -Copy/Download the file WEEK13.EXE to the directory where Madden NFL(tm) 97
  18.         is installed (I.E. C:\MADDEN).
  19. -Type WEEK13 (this is a self extracting archive file).
  20. -Type ROSTERS13 (this will extract the required files for the roster update).

  22. From Windows 95:
  23. -From the Explorer, drag the file WEEK13.EXE to the directory where Madden
  24.         NFL(tm) 97 is installed (I.E. C:\MADDEN).
  25. -Double-click on the file WEEK13.EXE (this is a self extracting archive file).
  26. -Double-click on the file ROSTER13.BAT (this will extract the required files
  27.         for the roster update).

  29. If for some reason the files don't get copied to the required destination,
  30. you can manually extract the files to their respective directories. To do
  31. this:
