  1. The Magic Demo is here!

  3. The strategy card game phenomenon is coming soon to your PC.  But here's a 14MB demo of the Duel from Magic: The Gathering on the PC with 5 pre-made decks for you to play against the computer AI.

  6. Please Read This First!
  7. This is pre-release software, provided "as is" with no guarantees. There will be no patches or updates to this demo, and MicroProse will not offer technical support.

  9. Installation
  10. * You must have 14 Mb of free space on your hard disk to download this demo.  You must have an ADDITIONAL 33 Mb free to run it.
  11. * The file "mtgdemo.exe" that you downloaded is a WinZip file. Run it and select Unzip to extract all the necessary files onto your hard disk. The name of the folder to which you unzip the files must be no more than 8 characters long.
  12. * As soon as the unzipping is done, the demo starts automatically (unless you uncheck that option).
  13. * To play the demo again later, double click DEMO.EXE, which is in the folder to which you unzipped the demo.

  15. The Manual
  16. There's a small manual included with this demo called "mtg_demo.doc". This document explains how to play Magic: The Gathering and how to use the demo.
