  21. Here's another really, really quick model. Produced for the 
  22. Myriad Islands project (hence the MIPD on the side), it's been 
  23. built and released within two days. It's about 1400 polys and is 
  24. definately NOT a ripoff of a Chevrolet Corvette Z06 ;)

  29. This one is easy. In gta3.img, rename vicechee.dff and 
  30. vicechee.txd to something else (I changed mine to vicecheeBAK). 
  31. Then add the vicechee.dff and vicechee.txd files from this folder. 
  32. Next, open default.ide in /data with Notepad and search for 
  33. vicechee. Copy-paste the following line over that line:

  35. 236,     vicechee,     vicechee,     car,     CHEETAH,     CHEETAH,         null,    ignore,     10,     7,    0,        250, 0.85

  37. Open handling.cfg in /data with Notepad, search for cheetah and 
  38. paste this line instead:

  42. Open carcols.dat in /data with Notepad (again) and scroll down
  43. a little way until the mini-table of three columns end.
  44. Then paste the following into the blank line beneath, changing
  45. the 97 to whatever the next free number is:

  47. 49,49,49                        # 97 policeblack                        black

  49. Next search for vicechee again and paste this over the line that
  50. begins with vicechee:

  52. vicechee, 1,97
  53.  
  54. Finally, if you don't have the xbox wheelmod installed already
  55. then navigate into /models/generic, rename wheels.dff and 
  56. wheels.txd to something else (I changed mine to wheelsBAK), and
  57. then copy-paste wheels.dff and wheels.txd into there.

  59. Boot up Vice and enjoy :)
