  1. Hello, and thank you for downloading THORNBIRD'S MIDI COMPOSITIONS!

  3. My name is Michael Thornton and I have tried to put together a collection of my
  4. favorite MIDI creations for your enjoyment.  I have spent many hours composing,
  5. editing, and harmonizing the songs, and I have included in this package two
  6. versions of each selection, CAKEWALK and .MID(midi) formats.
  7.  
  8. When I originally composed the songs, I used a CASIO HT-700.  Obviously, the
  9. songs will sound best on that model, but they should work fine on any other
  10. keyboard.  The following is a list of the files in this "zip" and what sounds
  11. were intended for each song:
  12. BALLAD.MID  -  A haunting, but upbeat, ballad.  Use a string sound.
  13.       .WRK
  14. NOW   .MID  -  My attempt at rock and pop.  Use a brass or funk sound.
  15.       .WRK
  16. SINGLE.MID  -  One track of bliss, short but EXTREMELY relaxing!  Use a flute.
  17.       .WRK
  18. BELLS .MID  -  Makes you want to dance!  Use steel drums or bells.
  19.       .WRK
  20. ORIENT.MID  -  Sounds of the orient!  Use an oriental sounding instrument.
