  15. FAST PLANS6 will have been added to your
  16. START/PROGRAMS list - if you would also like an ICON
  17. on your desktop, go to Windows Explorer Fast Plans
  18. folder, select FP6.EXE with the right button,
  19. select create shortcut from the list and drag the
  20. shortcut on to the desktop.

  22.  FAST PLANS6 is an automated house layout design programme.
  23. it is very easy to use, and will produce professional
  24. quality layouts, but you should at least try or read
  25. through the examples.
  26.  
  27.  There are a large number of options available,
  28. some are customisable (become the default settings),
  29. while others are available in the various dialogue boxes.
  30.  Although all functions are very easy to follow,
  31. when you select a function the GUIDE LINE at the bottom
  32. of the screen shows what action to take, and there is a
  33. comprehensive online graphic help system, including
  34. context help (F1 key)available at all times.
  35. there are no printed manuals.

  54. 2/ draws external walls 2-4 lines on demand, and 
  55.     auto corrects corners
  56. 3/ floor plans can be expanded or shrunk
  57. 4/ complete drawing can be mirrored or rotated
  58. 5/ drawings can be saved as bitmaps .BMP
  59. 6/ walls can be displayed ( and printed ) solid
  60.     or cross hatched
  61. 7/ cill option on windows
  62. 8/ floor overlays
  63. 9/ zoom to fit screen, zoom by half
  64. 10/ delete and undo functions cover more objects
  65. 11/ the floor plan titles can be customised to

  78. DEMO VERSION
  79. Please Note:
  80.  This is a full working copy of the real programme -
  81. but with a number of functions restricted.
  82.  The Fast Plans programme is customised, in the demo
  83. where you see "DEMONSTRATION ONLY", the real programme
  84. replaces it with your name, exactly as shown  by you
  85. on the order form ( your name is mandatory -
  86. the real programme will not run without it).

  88. INSTALLING FAST PLANS5
  89. available both as a self extracting '.EXE' file or
  90. zip file '.ZIP' - because the fast archive download
  91. sites do not accept self extracting files.
  92. FASTP60.EXE - just double click on the file, then
  93. choose which folder the contents are to be placed in,
  94. unzio, go to that folder and double click on
  95. the 'SETUP.EXE' file to start the install.
  96. FASTP60.ZIP needs to be unzipped using a zip programme
  97.  ( WinZip, PKZip etc.,) , then double click
  98. on the SETUP.EXE file in the unzip window to start the install.
  99. If you need an unzip programme, there are plenty on
  100. the Internet, check the latest 'zip program' addresses
  101. with any search engine.

  136.  For best results we recommend using 800 x 600
  137. screen resolution minimum.

  140. of the screen, or press the F1 context help key
  141. (HELP button in dialogue boxes) or use HELP/
  142. from the menu - but remember if all else fails,
  143. read the help iinformation.
