  1. INFORMATION ON LICENSING

  4. USE ON MORE THAN ONE COMPUTER
  5.  
  6. To use PKWARE products in a commercial, educational or governmental
  7. agency on more than one computer, it is necessary to purchase a SITE
  8. LICENSE. The Site License allows the organization to use the 
  9. software package on up to the number of computers licensed. Site 
  10. License fees are based on the total number of computers/users that 
  11. will use the software package. Please use the "Multiple Use" Site 
  12. License section in the ORDER.TXT file. NOTE THAT THE SITE LICENSE 
  13. INCLUDES ONE COPY OF THE SOFTWARE AND DOCUMENTATION. The Site License 
  14. allows you to copy the software for the number of machines licensed.
  15. Distributing, repackaging, or reselling of the software to third 
  16. parties is not allowed. All licenses are prepaid.

  19. DISTRIBUTION LICENSE
  20.  
  21. A Distribution License is required by an organization, company or 
  22. government agency to use PKWARE programs to facilitate the 
  23. distribution of software to outside parties. To use PKWARE programs
  24. within your organization, company, educational or government agency,
  25. please see the Site License information.

  27. Should a self-extracting file, created with a PKWARE product, be 
  28. used, a Distribution License is required since PKWARE code is
  29. distributed in the form of the PKSFX program combined with file(s)
  30. being distributed.

  32. If you wish to distribute all or any part of a Command Line version 
  33. of PKZIP, a Distribution License is required. A Distribution License
  34. for the Graphic User Interface versions of PKZIP only allows for the
  35. distribution of self-extracting files.

  38. version of PKZIP for Windows, DOS, Command Line for Windows 9x/NT,
