Short: Surprise!! A new peg game...
Author: Charles-N. Jacob
Uploader: cjacob@vif.com
Type: game/wb
Status: Model-Railroad-Ware
Another "_Q"-game?! Yup, but this one is played on an hexagonal shaped
board, like this:
o o o
o o o o
o o . o o
o o o o o o
o o o o o
o o o o
o o o
As usual, it is a different type of peg-jumping-game, one that I didn't
see on a computer before (At least, not on the Amiga), so I decided to
create it and here it is!
The play is the same as my other "_Q"-games: you play by moving a peg to
an empty space. You can only move a peg two spaces horizontally or
diagonally. The game features two playing mode, a "Normal" and an
"Inverted" play:
-In the 'Normal' play, you jump over a peg and it is removed.
-In the 'Inverted' play, you jump over an empty space and a peg will
appear there.
The goal of the game is to remove all the pegs (or fill up the board, if
the game is "Inverted"), until only one peg is left (or only one space is
empty, in the "Inverted" game), preferably where the hole (or peg) was at
the start. Have fun!
And now: Ta-da!! The usual stuff... the model-railroading stuff, that is:
Hexa_Q is "Model-Railroad-Ware", this means that if you like and/or use
it, please register by sending me some model railroad items (pieces of
track, freight or passenger cars, DPM [Design Preservation Models] modular
walls, kits, etc.) OR 10$ (in Canadian funds) to:
