  2. ~~HP Scanner Test failed to open the scanner driver. This indicates that the Dlls that talk to the driver were not installed correctly.
  3. ~~$* If you are running Windows 3.x, the hpsm32s.dll needs to be in the \Windows\system directory.
  4. ~~* If you are running Windows 95, the hpscnmgr.dll needs to be in the \Windows\system directory.
  5. ~~* If you are running Windows NT, the hpscnmgr.dll needs to be in the \Windows\system32 directory.
  6. ~~^Please try re-installing your scanning software.
