  1. HP Software Product License Agreement and Software & Product Limited Warranty
  2.  
  3. ATTENTION:  USE OF THE SOFTWARE IS SUBJECT TO THE HP SOFTWARE 
  4. LICENSE TERMS SET FORTH BELOW. USING THE SOFTWARE INDICATES 
  5. YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE LICENSE TERMS.  IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT 
  6. THESE LICENSE TERMS, YOU MUST RETURN THE SOFTWARE FOR A FULL 
  7. REFUND.  IF THE SOFTWARE IS SUPPLIED WITH ANOTHER PRODUCT, YOU 
  8. MAY RETURN THE ENTIRE UNUSED PRODUCT FOR A FULL REFUND.

  10. HP SOFTWARE LICENSE TERMS
  11.  
  12. The following License Terms govern your use of the accompanying 
  13. Software unless you have a separate written agreement with HP.
  14.  
  15. License Grant.
  16. HP grants you a license to Use one copy of the Software. "Use" 
  17. means storing, loading, installing, executing or displaying the 
  18. Software. You may not modify the Software or disable any licensing
  19. or control features of the Software. If the Software is licensed 
  20. for "concurrent use", you may not allow more than the maximum number 
  21. of authorized users to Use the Software concurrently.
  22.  
  23. Ownership.
  24. The Software is owned and copyrighted by HP or its third party 
  25. suppliers.  Your license confers no title or ownership in the 
  26. Software and is not a sale of any rights in the Software.  
  27. HP's third party suppliers may protect their rights in the 
  28. event of any violation of these License Terms.
  29.  
  30. Copies and Adaptations.  
  31. You may only make copies or adaptations of the Software for archival 
  32. purposes or when copying or adaptation is an essential step in the 
  33. authorized Use of the Software. You must reproduce all copyright 
  34. notices in the original Software on all  copies or adaptations.  
  35. You may not copy the Software onto any bulletin board or similar 
  36. system.
  37.  
  38. No Disassembly or Decryption.
  39. You may not disassemble or decompile the Software unless HP's prior 
  40. written consent is obtained.  In some jurisdictions, HP's consent 
  41. may not be required for disassembly or decompilation.  Upon request, 
  42. you will provide HP with reasonably detailed information regarding 
  43. any disassembly or decompilation.  You may not decrypt the Software 
  44. unless decryption is a necessary part of the operation of the Software.
  45.  
  46. Transfer. 
  47. Your license will automatically terminate upon any transfer of the 
  48. Software.  Upon transfer, you must deliver the Software, including 
  49. any copies and related documentation, to the transferee. The 
  50. transferee must accept these License Terms as a condition to the 
  51. transfer.  
  52.  
  53. Termination.  
  54. HP may terminate your license upon notice for failure to comply with 
  55. any of these License Terms.  Upon termination, you must immediately 
  56. destroy the Software, together with all copies, adaptations and merged 
  57. portions in any form.
  58.  
  59. Export Requirements.  
  60. You may not export or re-export the Software or any copy or adaptation
  61.  in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
  62.  
  63. U.S. Government Restricted Rights.  
  64. The Software and documentation have been developed entirely at private 
  65. expense and are provided as "Commercial Computer Software" or "restricted 
  66. computer software".  They aredelivered and licensed as "commercial 
  67. computer software" as defined in DFARS 252.227-7013 (Oct 1988), 
  68. DFARS 252.211-7015 (May 1991) or DFARS 252.227-7014 (Jun 1995), as a 
  69. "commercial item" as defined in FAR 2.101 (a), or as "Restricted computer 
  70. software" as defined in FAR 52.227-19 (Jun 1987) (or any equivalent agency 
  71. regulation or contract clause), whichever is applicable.  You have only 
  72. those rights provided for such Software and Documentation by the applicable 
  73. FAR or DFARS clause or the HP standard software agreement for the product.  
  74.  
  75. Software Product Limited Warranty
  76.  
  77. Ninety-Day Limited Software Warranty 
  78.  
  79. HP warrants for a period of NINETY (90) DAYS from the date of the purchase 
  80. that the software product will execute its programming instructions when 
  81. all files are properly installed. HP does not warrant that the operation 
  82. of the software will be uninterrupted or error free. In the event that 
  83. this software product fails to execute its programming instructions 
  84. during the warranty period, Customer's remedy shall be a refund or repair. 
  85. Should HP be unable to replace the media within a reasonable amount of time, 
  86. Customer's alternate remedy shall be a refund of the purchase price upon 
  87. return of the product and all copies.
  88.  
  89. Removable Media (If supplied)
  90.  
  91. HP warrants the removable media, if supplied, upon which this product is 
  92. recorded to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal 
  93. use for a period of NINETY (90) DAYS from the date of purchase. In the event 
  94. the media proves to be defective during the warranty period, Customer's 
  95. remedy shall be to return the media to HP for replacement. Should HP be 
  96. unable to replace the media within a reasonable amount of time, Customer's 
  97. alternate remedy shall be a refund of the purchase price upon return of the 
  98. product and destruction of all other nonremovable media copies of the software 
  99. product.
  100.  
  101. Notice of Warranty Claims
  102.  
  103. Customer must notify HP in writing of any warranty claim not later than 
  104. thirty (30) days after the expiration of the warranty period.
  105.  
  106. Limitation of Warranty
  107.  
  108. HP makes no other express warranty, whether written 
  109. or oral with respect to this product. Any implied warranty of merchantability 
  110. or fitness for a particular purpose is limited to the 90-day duration of this 
  111. written warranty. Some states or provinces do not allow limitations on how 
  112. long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation or exclusion may not 
  113. apply to you.

  115. This warranty gives specific legal rights, and you may also 
  116. have other rights which vary from state to state, or province to province.
  117.  
  118. Limitation of Liability and Remedies
  119.  
  120. THE REMEDIES PROVIDED ABOVE ARE CUSTOMER'S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES. IN NO 
  121. EVENT SHALL HP BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR 
  122. CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOST PROFIT) WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, 
  123. CONTRACT, TORT OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY. Some states or provinces do not allow 
  124. the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above 
  125. limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

  127. Obtaining Warranty Service
  128.  
  129. Warranty service may be obtained from the nearest HP sales office or other location 
  130. indicated in the owner's manual or service booklet.
  131.  
  132. Consumer transactions in 
  133. Australia and the United Kingdom: The disclaimers and limitations above shall not 
  134. apply and shall not affect the statutory rights of a Consumer.
