  22. A) Installation of the BigWin Driver
  23. ====================================
  24.   (Only for floppy disk installation. You have to start the installation
  25.   from SuperCD-ROM always with SPEAINST.)

  27.   Start Windows and choose at the Program Manager:
  28.       FILE-RUN
  29.   and type A:\V7SETUP.

  31. B) Notes and Known Restrictions
  32. ===============================
  33. V7SETUP:
  34. --------
  35.   1) During the first installation the driver will be installed with the
  36.   lowest possible refresh rate at the chosen resolution.
  37.   If you use a high-class multi-sync monitor and you choose a
  38.   resolution 1024x768 and above, synchronisation problems may occur.
  39.   To prevent this, please choose the resolution 640x480 to start with.
  40.   Afterwards you can test and change to the preferred resolution
  41.   and refresh rate with the utility V7SETUP.

  43.   2) Installing graphics drivers for Windows and Virus Check Programs
  44.   Virus check programs, such as the DOS 6.0 internal one, which search
  45.   for changes at *.exe and *.com files, detect changes at the file
  46.   win.com after installing the SPEA BigWin driver. This is not a
  47.   virus, because while installing the driver, driver supplements will
  48.   be saved in this file.

  50. SPEA BigWin Driver:
  51. -------------------
  52.   1) The SPEA BigWin driver may not be used in 80286 based systems.
  53.  
  54.   2) VDD limitation:  Cannot execute any VGA graphics modes in a
  55.   windowed mode. The XGA driver supplied by Microsoft has a similiar
  56.   limitation.

  58.   3) True Color:
  59.   If you use more than 15 icons in one program group, a message will
  60.   tell you that not all symbols are converted correctly. These symbols
  61.   will be displayed in black.

  64. C) Windows 95 and BigWin95:

  66.   For Windows 95 SPEA offeres a special Win95 driver: BigWin95.
