  3. ONLY LOAD THIS BIOS ON A "SOLO" P5-75, P5-90, P5-100, P5-120, OR P5-133.  
  4. LOADING ON ANY OTHER SYSTEM WILL RUIN THE SYSTEM.

  6. Instructions on updating the BIOS:
  7.  
  8. 1.  Go to a "C" prompt in DOS and press the FN+ALT+DEL keys simultaneously to reboot the system.
  9. 2.  When the message "Starting MS-DOS..." is displayed on the LCD screen, press the F5 key.  This will
  10. bypass your autoexec.bat and config.sys files, booting the system clean.
  11. Note-if your Solo is running "Windows 95"
  12. When the message "Starting Windows 95..." is displayed on the LCD screen, press the F8 key.  Then 
  13. arrow down to "Safe mode command prompt only" and press enter.
  14. 3.  Put the floppy disk in drive A, type A: and press enter.
  15. 4.  At the "A" prompt, type the word BIOS111.EXE and press enter.
  16. 5.  The system will now begin to update the BIOS.
  17. 6.  After the system BIOS is updated, the system will reboot with the updated BIOS.
  18. 7.  When the system reboots you may get a message that says "Non-system disk or disk error.  Replace
  19. and press any key when ready."  If this occurs, remove the floppy disk from the "A" drive and press enter.
  20. 8.  The BIOS should now be successfully installed.
