1. Supported CD-ROM drive:
<Proprietary CD-ROM>
CR-562/563 (double speed, tray loading type)
2. Installer file name:
INSTALL.EXE (Version 1.00, common file for installation)
INSTALL.DAT (installation's data file for proprietary CD-ROM)
3. Description for execution:
If you are setting up CR-56X (proprietary CD-ROM), please type following from the DOS prompt:
A: or B: INSTALL [return]

(B) OS/2 2.1; 2.11 and OS/2 Warp installation procedure:

1. Supported CD-ROM drive:
<Proprietary CD-ROM>
CR-562/563 (double speed, tray loading type)
2. Installer file name:
INSTOS2.EXE (Version 2.00, common file for installation)
INSTOS2.DAT (installation's data file for proprietary CD-ROM)
3. Description for execution:
If you are setting up CR-56X (proprietary CD-ROM), please type following:
A: or B: INSTOS2 [return]

CR-562/563 (double speed, tray loading type)
CR-521/522/523 (single speed , Caddy type)
2. Device Driver name:
CDMKE.SYS (Version 4.11)
3. Driver description: The device driver must be installed in the Config.sys file.
Example: DEVICE=CDMKE.SYS /D:MSCD001 /SBP:220 or /P:300
[/D:xxxxxxx] ---> Device name option
[/SBP:nnn] ---> I/F board address option(Sound Blaster)
*[/P:nnn] ---> I/F board address option(Other)
a) If Sound Blaster I/F board is used;
Config.sys must be as follows:
DEVICE=CDMKE.SYS /D:MSCD001 /SBP:nnn
where nnn=220, 240, 260 or 280 port address.
(Default is 220)
for Sound Blaster Pro(8 bit) port address nnn=220 or 240
for Sound Blaster 16(16 bit) nnn=220, 240, 260 or 280
b) If MKE original I/F board or other board is used;
Config.sys must be as follows:
DEVICE=CDMKE.SYS /D:MSCD001 /P:nnn
where nnn=I/O base port address of interface board.
nnn=300,310,320,340,350,360,370,380,390,
3A0,3B0,3C0,3D0,3E0,3F0.
For Panasonic original I/F board, the default address is 300.
*[/Q] ---> Non stop option
Non stop(no message <A>bort, <R>etry) in initializing driver.
example: DEVICE=CDMKE.SYS /D:MSCD001 /Q
* : You can omit this option.

a) if Sound Blaster board is used;
Config.sys must be as follows:
BASEDEV=MKECR56X.ADD /P:nnn
nnn=220, 240, 260 or 280(Default is address auto-scan)
Sound Blaster Pro(8 bit) 220 or 240
Sound Blaster 16(16 bit) 220, 240, 260 or 280
b) if MKE original I/F board or other board is used;
Config.sys must be as follows:
BASEDEV=MKECR56X.ADD /P:260 for I/O address 260
nnn=300, 310, 320 or 330(Default is address auto-scan)
